Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Payments
1.1. All bookings made online are confirmed. Payment can also be accepted at the door; however, if the class is full, entry will not be permitted. Booking online in advance is strongly recommended.
1.2. Payments must be completed in full before the booking is confirmed. Installment options may be available for specific programs, as outlined during the booking process.
1.3. Fees are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled.
1.4. Late payments may result in a late fee charge or removal from programs until the balance is cleared.
1.5. For Associate Programs, participants may pay in monthly installments, which will be collected one month in advance. A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in the program.
2. Attendance and Punctuality
2.1. Participants must arrive on time and be prepared for their session. If a participant arrives more than 10 minutes late, they will not be permitted into the class due to health and safety concerns for the dancer.
2.2. Absences will not be refunded or credited under any circumstances.
2.3. Consistent attendance is required for Associate Programs. Failure to maintain regular attendance may result in removal from the program with no refund, and the space may be offered to another participant
3. Behaviour, Conduct, and Attire
3.1. All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, and fellow dancers. Bullying, disruptive, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated. Participants may be asked to leave a class immediately, and in cases of consistent bad behaviour, they will be withdrawn from all future classes held by the Aaron Dwyer Company.
3.2. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their child understands and adheres to the code of conduct.
3.3. Failure to follow conduct guidelines may result in immediate dismissal from the session, with no refund.
3.4. All students are required to have their hair secured off their face, preferably in a bun or ponytail, to prevent hair whipping in the face during training (e.g., for pirouettes). Guidance for creating a secure bun is available here: How to Make a Ballet Bun. Baggy clothing is not permitted. Students must wear tight-fitting attire so their posture and form are visible, allowing for proper corrections to be given.
4. Health and Safety
4.1. Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries affecting the participant during the booking process. This information is crucial to ensuring the participant's safety and well-being.
4.2. Participants are required to wear appropriate dancewear and bring necessary equipment, including water bottles and a towel. Proper preparation is essential for both safety and performance.
4.3. The organiser will take all reasonable steps to ensure participant safety; however, parents/guardians acknowledge that participation in dance activities involves some inherent risk of injury.
4.4. In case of an emergency, parents/guardians authorise the organisers to seek necessary medical assistance on behalf of the participant. Any associated costs will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
5.1. Refunds are not offered for missed classes, intensives, workshops, or associate programs.
5.2. Cancellations made by The Aaron Dwyer Company will either be rescheduled or credited towards a future session or program.
5.3. If a participant is unable to attend The AD Associates due to illness or injury, notice must be provided prior to the scheduled session. Any potential adjustments will be considered at the discretion of The Aaron Dwyer Company.
6. Communication
6.1. Official updates will be shared via email. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to regularly check their email and stay informed about important information.
6.2. Parents/guardians must provide a valid email address and contact number during the booking process. Any changes to contact details must be promptly communicated to The Aaron Dwyer Company to ensure uninterrupted communication.
7. Liability
7.1. The organiser is not liable for personal property that is lost, stolen, or damaged during sessions. Participants are advised to keep their belongings secure at all times.
7.2. The organiser accepts no liability for injuries sustained during participation, except in cases where negligence can be clearly demonstrated and proven.
8. Agreement
By booking a class, intensive, workshop, or associate program, parents/guardians confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
